Starting Saturday 6th September, from 11:15 to 12:45, the Club Coach (James Brownsdon) will run a mix of fitness and technique drills to take your game to the next level. There will be two levels - Improvers (league boxes 21 and below) and Intermediates (league boxes 10-20). The sessions will alternate on Saturdays, starting with Improvers on 6th September, and Intermediates on 13th September. Maximum 8 persons per session - strictly on a first come basis. Thank you to everyone who played in The Dulwich Women’s Open 2025—especially our first-timers! Congratulations to all winners and finalists. Huge thanks to Dulwich Sports Club for hosting, and to Nikhil Roy & Miriam Emanuel for their support in setting up at such a great venue. Appreciation to Tim Garner for coordinating with club sponsor, Dulwich Tandoori, as well as Natasha Burrett, for managing the event on the day.

Since 1986, Graham Ashton (our former Club President) has single-handedly organised our leagues tables. I am pleased to announce that after his 300th league he is passing the baton!

With 200 participants, spread over 30 boxes, it is clear the leagues have been the bedrock of our club. We are immensely grateful for his dedication and insightful leadership (or... "don't argue with me" approach!).

He will be handing over league organiser duties to John Gillman. John will be in charge of the next league in November. Thank you, Graham and welcome, John!

Update: Dulwich Squash Club with CM Stringers will host another one-day graded event on 22 November 2025. It sold out in less than 8 minutes! There will be 114 matches played!

Nick and Joss's convincing wins at 3rd and 4th string does the heavy lifting, but a valuable game secured by Gordon secures victory over the first team! Just shows how tight it is at the top! Drinks on the 1st team later in the bar!

Junior Squash Coaching is back and the online booking portal is live ! We will run courses for Minis (ages 4- 7 years), Beginners (ages 7+ or by ability), Intermediates (ages 11+ or by ability) and Advanced (ages 14+ or by ability). Places are limited so please do book ahead. Sessions will resume on Wednesday 10th September & Friday 12th September depending on which group your child is in. Book your returning juniors into their usual session unless previously discussed with James Brownsdon.

This year’s tournament kicked off on 28th June and concluded on 2nd August, wrapping up an exhilarating 35 days of intense competition and sportsmanship.

We set an incredible record of nearly 150 registrations across six categories, all vying to secure one of the coveted 14 player spots in the finals. As is typical, the tournament started at a moderate pace. However, our competition organisers, Greg Wallyn and Harry Prescot, with the support of Nikhil Roy, maintained momentum throughout the rounds. Their dedication delivered the finals everyone eagerly anticipated.

The finals were spectacular! Could the new rising star dethrone last year’s champion in the Men's finals? Who would emerge victorious in the Ladies final between the talented junior sisters? Did the handicap system deliver a balanced Handicap final? Which of the two familiar faces in the Veterans category would capture our support? Despite a bustling day filled with eager competitors, everything ran seamlessly thanks to the club's dedicated staff. Congratulations to all Dulwich participants, with a special shoutout to Harry Prescot, Ashley Merchant, and Daniel Jackson for their outstanding performances in the A Cup and Plate finals.
